Spaceboy isn't a code generator — it's a complete software development team on demand. Planning, engineering, code review, infrastructure, and operations are all handled by agents working together behind the scenes, while you steer the product in plain language. You describe what you want; your team plans it, builds it, reviews it, and ships it.

What your agents do

From the moment you create a project, a team of agents is working for you:

• Provision live sandbox servers and stream a running preview of your app directly into your browser.
• Plan features, write the code, and open every change for your review — nothing ships silently.
• Review each other's work, catch problems, and repair them before you ever see a bug.
• Design and manage your database, writing and running every schema migration.
• Deploy your database changes, backend, and web app to development and production environments.
• Run the tasks you hand off — new features, capabilities, integrations — each in its own isolated workspace, several at a time.
• Keep every environment configured and healthy, with your source code backed up continuously.

How you direct the team

There are two ways to put your agents to work. In the workspace you chat: describe a change, watch it land in the live preview, and iterate — a conversation with your engineer. For everything else there are tasks: hand off a piece of work — "add a pricing page", "set up payments", "ship the iOS app" — and an agent runs it in an isolated workspace of its own while you keep building. Finished task work merges back through the repo's automated release checks.

You direct the team from wherever you are: the web dashboard, the iPhone app, Slack, or the terminal. Every surface reaches the same agents and the same projects, and every piece of work is tracked from the moment it starts to the moment it ships.

What makes an agent team trustworthy is the same thing that makes a human team trustworthy: process. Spaceboy runs the disciplines professional teams rely on, automatically, on every project:

• Isolated environments — you, each teammate, and every agent build in private sandboxes against one shared codebase, so no experiment can break anyone else's work.
• Version control — every change ever made is recorded permanently; any earlier version can be revisited or restored.
• Gated releases — production never ships from a direct push; every release must pass the repository's own checks (install, lint, tests) before it merges.
• A complete record — every deploy, agent run, and release check is logged, so you always know what shipped and why.

Spaceboy projects aren't limited to the web. The same project can ship as a full-stack web app, native iOS and Android apps, and Shopify storefront themes — web deploys to managed cloud environments, iOS builds to TestFlight and the App Store, Android as signed device builds, and Shopify themes previewed live against your connected store. Very few platforms of any kind cover all four; Spaceboy's agents build, test, and review across every one of them.
